Its original manufacturers were the famous Dooling Brothers, which produced about 1000 units at the time. They were offered to lovers of the famous Dooling Spin Dizzies, miniature motorized racing cars that reached dizzying speeds. They were closely based on the famous Mercedes Silver Arrows of the early 1930s. Originals are rare today and are highly valued by collectors. Our 12.2-inch Indy racer is molded with the same sophisticated details as its original and is hand-cast from aircraft aluminum.
